Union Los Angeles
An editorial proposal bringing together Union’s history, its graphic character, and streetwear culture through fashion and footwear compositions.
- What we did
- Editorial composition and graphic applications

Union opened in 1989 on Spring Street in New York’s Soho. It began as a space for the local community’s music, art, and fashion, and as a meeting point for pieces from around the world.
The Los Angeles shop followed when Eddie Cruz moved to the West Coast. The brand’s story emphasizes discovering designers and clothing that combine fashion with function, drawing on places such as Japan and the United Kingdom.
The visual proposal brings together serif typography, the Union character, and the yellow UN/LA label. Applications add blue and red, outlined silhouettes, and footwear photography, using white space to retain the editorial character of the composition.
